Important Registry Parts
The registry is a database that contains information about applications and components of the operating system, as well as its state and performance. To get access to this information, you need to know the registry keys that contain this information and the format used to store it.
If you know where the required keys and values are located in the registry, you can edit them using the Registry Editor. If you don’t know the location of keys and values, or if you want to see the process of working with the registry data in a more convenient way, the Reg Organizer Important Registry Parts tool may come in handy.
This tool extracts data from the critical sections of the registry automatically and displays it for the user to review or edit. Sections of the registry, which can be reviewed in the Important Registry Parts tool, are responsible for different aspects of system performance. For example, the Recently Used Files section lists documents recently opened in the various Windows applications. The Open With…Menu section allows you to review and edit the list of applications which the operating system suggests to use to open a file in an unknown format.
When removing or changing the data with Important Registry Parts, you can cancel your changes using the Undo Changes Center.
