Private Data Cleanup

This tool removes traces of work with the computer from the system. These traces contain data of a personal nature about the user. Such data is constantly accumulating when the users are working with the computer.

If you are a user of the computer, examples of such information are the data of the sites (cookies) you recently visited in the browser and the lists of the documents’ paths you opened that were stored by the system for quick access in the future.

An important feature of this tool is cleaning the traces of working with installed third-party applications (the cache).

Periodic private data cleanup reduces the number of traces that an unauthorized person may potentially use to determine what you were doing at your computer. That said, it is not recommended to perform the cleanup very often, as it may be necessary to repeat the actions you already did before in the installed applications. For example, removing the browser cookies (this cleanup part is disabled by default) may lead to resetting of the login data for some sites, and you will have to enter your login and password on these sites again.

To clean the private data with the recommended frequency, follow the Express Check instructions.
