Quick Tune-Up Group
A quick tune-up group combines several tweaks together, assigning each tweak a so-called group state. This is a state a tweak acquires when its parent group is turned on. Thus, a user can enable or disable a quick tune-up group just like an individual tweak. Enabling will lead to all tweaks inside the group acquiring their group states. The group state of each particular tweak is configured individually.
For instance, if a tweak has 2 states: On and Off, you can put it into a quick tune-up group and set this tweak’s group state to Off. So whenever you enable this quick tune-up group, that tweak is turned Off.
When you disable a quick tune-up group, all tweaks it contains regain their original states they had prior to enabling the group.
When you add a tweak to a quick tune-up group, you should specify its group state, otherwise turning this group on will not have any effect on this tweak. To set the group state, select a tweak in the quick tune-up group and specify the group state in the window that appears.
When you transfer a tweak from one quick tune-up group to another, it keeps its group state, but if you move it to a standard tweak group, the state is lost.
You can use a quick tune-up group to merge together all settings serving the same purpose, for example, a quick tune-up group for disabling the visual effects of the operating system. So by enabling such a group, you can instantly turn off all visual effects at once to boost the operating system performance.
