Creating Tweaks

Reg Organizer’s tweak function modifies a certain registry parameter. Say you can create a tweak with three states: low, average, and high. Let’s say a tweak sets an integer value Speed in the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MyApp\Settings. The low state corresponds to 10; the average state corresponds to 100; and the high state corresponds to 1000. So if you turn this tweak option to the state high, the value of 1000 will be written to the Speed parameter of the registry key specified above.

You can also specify a more flexible approach to setting a tweak value. For instance, a value corresponding to any number above 100 contained in the registry value.

To create such tweak, switch to the Tweaks (Advanced Users Section) window and press the Create a new tweak… button, then follow the steps of the creating procedure and specify the parameters of the tweak.

When you create a tweak for a text parameter, you can use multilingual text in it. To do this, put a corresponding checkmark near such a parameter, for example, name. A multilingual parameter displays different values depending on the language. You’ll need to set names for each of the supported languages then.

For each tweak created, a list of supported operating systems is displayed. If a tweak is not supported by the current operating system, it will not be visible in the tweak function main window, but it will be displayed in gray color in the Tweaks (Advanced Users Section) window.
