How to Completely Uninstall an Application
The Applications tool of Reg Organizer allows you to completely remove any application installed on your computer. Whenever you need to remove an application, Reg Organizer searches for any traces an application might have left in the system registry or disks and suggests removing them.
In addition, Reg Organizer offers the powerful capability to install any application using so-called tracing. If an application is installed this way, Reg Organizer tracks all changes made to the system during the install. Monitoring includes information about what registry keys were modified, what files on disks were created, changed or deleted, what DLLs were installed by the program and other factors. Using these data, the application can be uninstalled from the system completely, if needed.
Traced installation of an application consists of three simple steps. You need to:
- Turn on system changes tracing in Reg Organizer.
- Install an application as usual.
- Finish system changes tracking. Reg Organizer creates a report on what changes were made to the system during the installation and saves it.
An application installed this way is called traced. If you uninstall it later using Reg Organizer, the information gathered during the installation process will be used to remove the application from the system and all traces it may have left.
There is a special removal tool from the developers for some applications. If this is the case you may perform the guaranteed complete uninstall of the application, even if it cannot be removed the standard way for some reason.
