Working with the List of Installed Applications
The main Applications tool window displays the list of applications currently installed in the system.
In order to get detailed information about any application, click it in the list. You can also view all traces this application has left in the system. To do that, click the View all traces link. You can read more about this here.
The procedure for uninstalling an application is thoroughly described in this section.
To install a new application with system changes tracing, choose the INSTALL WITH TRACING command in the left part of the window.
If an application has been traced, you will see the stripe on the right side of the list’s line. This means the application was installed under control and all changes it made to the system during the installation process were saved and can be rolled back.
If you are purposefully looking for applications, which can be removed from the system in order to, for example, free up the space in it, pay attention to the buttons above the applications list.
For instance, if you click Large Applications, only applications of a large size will be displayed in the list sorted by decreasing size. To change which application should be considered large, open the Settings.
If there are installed applications which can be updated, you will see their number on the INSTALLED APPLICATIONS UPDATES button. Click on it to view only those applications. To install the new version of an application, click on it in the list and press the update button with the appropriate name, such as Update to 2.0. You may update all applications at once by clicking on the update button’s arrow and choosing the bulk update command in the drop-down menu.
