External Uninstallers Launching Detection

With this feature you don’t need to launch Reg Organizer manually each time you need to uninstall an unnecessary application and remove its traces from the system.

If you enable the application external deletion function you may just run the application’s uninstaller in any way you are usually using for uninstalling the applications in Windows. The ways include, but not limited to: Running the uninstall command from the Start Menu, removing using the Apps and Features section or launching the uninstaller directly from the application’s folder.

After the application’s uninstaller has been launched and finished the standard uninstall of the application, Reg Organizer will detect this and offer to remove the application’s traces left in the system, if any.

To enable this function:

  • Choose the SETTINGS Main Menu item.
  • In the window that appears, choose the section titled Applications at the left.
  • Turn on the setting External uninstallers launching detection to clean the leftovers.

Once you enable this function, Reg Organizer will remain in the background after closing its window, which is necessary to detect the external uninstalls. When Reg Organizer is in the background mode you may locate its icon in the system tray (in the bottom right screen edge near the clock). It always allows you to disable the external uninstall detection function in case of need.
